West Bromwich Albion supporters will witness a historic first-ever league meeting with Wrexham next season, as the full list of 23 Championship opponents for the Baggies has now been confirmed for the 2025/26 campaign.

The Red Dragons, backed by their Hollywood owners, return to England's second tier after a remarkable 44-year absence, having last competed at this level in the 1981/82 season. Interestingly, these two clubs have only ever met once before - in an FA Cup tie way back in 1930.

Local rivalry will be rekindled as Birmingham City bounce straight back to the Championship after just one season in League One. The Midlands derby between the Baggies and the Blues returns to the fixture list after a one-year hiatus, with their last league encounters taking place during the 2023/24 season.

Charlton Athletic complete the trio of promoted teams after securing their Championship status in dramatic fashion. The Addicks edged past Leyton Orient with a narrow 1-0 victory in Sunday's League One play-off final at Wembley, ending their five-year stint in the third division.

West Brom fans might recall their last meetings with Charlton came during the 2019/20 season, when both fixtures ended in entertaining 2-2 draws.

With these three clubs joining the Championship mix, will the Baggies be targeting promotion or merely looking to establish themselves against this refreshed lineup of opponents?
