Antony has caught the attention of Bayern Munich following his impressive season on loan at "Real Betis". The 25-year-old Brazilian winger has barely unpacked his bags after finishing his loan spell in Spain, and already the European giants are lining up for his signature.
"Bayern" reportedly has earmarked between 50 and 70 million euros for a marquee signing this summer, with the former Ajax star firmly in their sights. The German champions have already initiated contact with the player's representatives, though no deal appears imminent.
Despite Manchester United setting a minimum asking price of 50 million euros for the Brazilian, the finances shouldn't be an obstacle for the Bavarian powerhouse. The situation leaves "Betis" fighting an uphill battle to retain the player who publicly expressed his happiness at the Andalusian club.
Interestingly, "Bayer Leverkusen" has also entered the race for Antony's signature, adding another Bundesliga option for the skillful left-footer.
Worth noting that while United doesn't appear to count on Antony for next season, they certainly won't let him go cheaply after their substantial investment in bringing him from Ajax. The Red Devils will be looking to recoup as much as possible of the hefty fee they paid under former manager Erik ten Hag.
Can "Real Betis" somehow find a way to keep their Brazilian star, or will the financial muscle of Bayern prove too strong to resist? The summer transfer window is just heating up.
