Aleix Garcia has cast doubt on Angelo Stiller's suitability for "Real Madrid" amid ongoing transfer speculation. The Bayer Leverkusen midfielder shared his skeptical view about his German counterpart potentially joining the Spanish giants.

"I know they're talking about him at Madrid, but honestly, I think there are better options than him for this position," Garcia told 'As' in a recent interview.

The 27-year-old Catalan, formerly of "Girona", didn't completely dismiss Stiller's abilities but suggested the 24-year-old Stuttgart midfielder might not be what "Real Madrid" needs right now.

Garcia offered a measured assessment of Stiller's playing style: "He's good. I haven't analyzed him in detail, but with Stuttgart's way of playing, the midfielders touch the ball a lot and he's quite precise with his passes, especially the short ones."

Interestingly, the Leverkusen player pointed to a specific gap in Madrid's squad that needs filling.

"They definitely need someone like Kroos. He's been absent this season and his absence has been very noticeable," added Garcia.

The comments come after weeks—almost months—of rumors linking the Munich-born Stiller with a potential move to the Bernabéu. His name has appeared alongside several other midfielders reportedly being considered by the club.

Will "Real Madrid" heed Garcia's assessment or pursue Stiller anyway? The transfer saga continues.
