Mladen Bartulovic finds himself at the center of a coaching tug-of-war as "Metallist 1925" is actively pursuing the Croatian specialist currently working with "Zorya", despite his existing agreement with another Ukrainian club.
According to reports, negotiations between Bartulovic and the Kharkiv club have been productive. However, there's a significant complication - the Croatian coach has already agreed to contract terms with "Oleksandriya", last season's silver medalists in the Ukrainian Premier League.
Should Bartulovic join "Metallist 1925", he won't be coming alone. His coaching staff would include familiar faces who previously helped the Kharkiv collective return to Ukraine's football elite: Oleksandr Chizhov, Maksym Tsvirenko, and Andriy Polunin.
Interestingly, "Metallist 1925" has been quite busy with coaching appointments lately. The club has also named Natalia Zinchenko as the new head coach of their women's team.
By the way, this coaching drama comes shortly after news that "Polissya" abandoned their attempts to sign a recent debutant from the Ukrainian national team.
Will Bartulovic honor his agreement with "Oleksandriya" or be swayed by the Kharkiv club's offer? The Ukrainian football coaching carousel continues to spin.
