Danilo Falkovskyi and five other players have departed "Metalurh" Zaporizhzhia after the club's relegation from Ukraine's First League.

The team's official website confirmed that contracts have expired for Falkovskyi, Vitalii Varianyk, Volodymyr Blyzniuk, Maksym Strads, Vladyslav Vasylchenko, and Anton Osadchuk - leaving substantial gaps in the squad.

"Metalurh" failed to maintain their First League status after losing both legs of their relegation playoff against "Chernihiv" with disappointing 0:3 and 0:2 defeats.

"We're prepared for a complete reset," a club representative stated regarding the situation. "Our goal is clear - return to the First League within one year."

Interestingly, the remaining squad members have already begun their vacation period, which will last until June 30. This gives the club management nearly a month to regroup and develop a strategy for the upcoming season in the lower division.

The mass exodus raises questions about "Metalurh's" ability to rebuild quickly. Can they assemble a competitive squad capable of earning promotion at the first attempt? The clock is ticking.
