Jobe Bellingham has officially joined "Borussia Dortmund" in a deal worth €33 million fixed plus €5 million in variables. The 19-year-old midfielder, younger brother of Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham, arrives from "Sunderland" after helping them secure promotion to the Premier League.

"I'm delighted to join Dortmund and fight for titles with this great club. I want to contribute my bit and will work day by day to achieve it," Bellingham said after signing a five-year contract that keeps him at Signal Iduna Park until June 2030.

Interestingly, Jobe now steps into the same club where his older brother Jude made his name before securing his move to "Real Madrid." The similarities don't end there - both are midfielders with leadership qualities that caught Dortmund's attention.

Sebastian Kehl, Dortmund's Sporting Director, wasn't shy about their long-standing interest in the younger Bellingham. "We've known Jobe for many years and, of course, have followed his development very closely. He took another big step forward last year and, at just 19, has established himself as an absolute leader."

This signing comes at a crucial time for "Borussia Dortmund" as they look to rebuild after a disappointing season. The club is clearly banking on young talent once again - a strategy that worked wonders with his brother.

The midfielder will get his first taste of action with his new club at the upcoming Club World Cup. Can he live up to the Bellingham name that's already written in Dortmund folklore? The pressure's on, but the talent seems to be there.
