Jobe Bellingham has completed his move to "Borussia Dortmund" after weeks of negotiations, following in the footsteps of his older brother Jude who previously played for the German club before joining Real Madrid. The 19-year-old midfielder leaves "Sunderland" in a deal worth €33 million plus €5 million in add-ons.

"I'm delighted to join Dortmund and fight for titles with this great club. I want to contribute and I'll work day by day to achieve it," Bellingham said after signing a five-year contract that runs until June 2030.

The younger Bellingham joins the Signal Iduna Park outfit after helping "Sunderland" secure promotion to the Premier League this season. His arrival marks a significant investment for "Dortmund" as they look to rebuild following a disappointing campaign.

Interestingly, the club's sporting director Sebastian Kehl revealed they've been tracking the youngster for quite some time.

"We've known Jobe for many years and have followed his development very closely. He took another big step forward last year and, at 19, has established himself as an absolute leader," Kehl explained.

Bellingham is expected to make his debut for the German side in the upcoming Club World Cup. The midfielder will be hoping to make a similar impact to his brother, who became a fan favorite during his time at the club before his high-profile move to Madrid.

Can the younger Bellingham live up to the family name at "Borussia Dortmund"? Only time will tell, but the significant transfer fee suggests the club has full confidence in his abilities.
